Modoc County Office of Education

The Educational Services Department of Modoc County Office of Education supports the mission of enhancing the academic, social, and technical skills of all Modoc County students.

MCOE participates in the Curriculum and Instruction Steering Committee (CISC) at the state level and the North East Regional Curriculum Committee (NERCC) for Region 2. The Educational Services Department provides local school districts with curriculum support and guidance through regional collaboration to help districts understand and implement state and federal legislation. 

The information technology office provides support for computer systems and software to the educational programs and administrative services for the Modoc County Office of Education and the school districts of the county. 

Career and Technical Education is offered at the district level with support and guidance provided from MCOE. CTE courses have unique requirements and a different funding stream which is monitored through the education services department.
